Well, it’s not really immediate, we’re just trying to save some money by purchasing coal at the summer price rather than pay 20% more when it gets cold.
The shelter for abused women and children near Odessa, Ukraine uses coal to keep warm during the winter. We’re going to buy 10 tons. Last year we bought 2 tons.
The summer price per ton in $190. Winter price per ton is $250 or better. You can see why we want to buy now. So far we have donations for 2 tons. We need 8 tons more, or $1520.
You can donate online: http://www.onechildinc.org/index.php/how-2-help/
We’re still shipping boxes of clothes and supplies to Ukraine. Feel free to help where you can.
Thank You,
Jon Driscoll
